Rare acid-etched, engraved, patinated, and polychromed bronze, pewter, and enamel coffee table, having the repeating "Eternal Forest" motif, by Philip & Kelvin LaVerne. The intricately decorated top rests on a concave patinated brass plinth base. Etched signature to surface: Philip + Kelvin LaVerne.

Philip and Kelvin LaVerne were a renowned New York-based father and son duo known for blending sculpture and furniture through innovative metalworking techniques. Their collaborative works, produced primarily in pewter and bronze, feature historical, mythological, and abstract themes. The “Eternal Forest” design is a standout from their celebrated limited editions.
