Giacometti Style, Contemporary, Modern Butterfly Benches, Aged Hammered Bronze, Gold Base, Brown Velvet

This pair of modern 'X' benches or ottomans were inspired by the work of Giacometti and designers of the brutalist furniture movement that emerged in the 1950s. Each example features four hand hammered varnished bronze legs. Two organic form hammered bronze stretchers form an 'X' within the base - an ode to the traditional 'X' form benches we see in today's antiquities. Bronze leaves and butterflies decorate the bronze undercarriage making this pair extremely unique and one of a kind.
