Georgian Style, Mahogany, Brass, Sideboard, England, Late 18th century
This late 18th century work features a finely crafted bow-front top, adorned with crossbanding and delicate stringing, sitting above a conforming case. The central drawer is flanked by a large cabinet to one side and a pair of graduated drawers to the other, offering both symmetry and functionality. Decorative inlays feature a central seashell motif and elegant spandrels, enhancing the refined aesthetic. The piece stands on rectilinear legs terminating in spade feet, reflecting a balanced blend of form and craftsmanship.
