Description
An English, Arts and Crafts period cane armchair by Dryad and Co. circa 1910. With Dryad brass label. Designed by Harry Peach and known as the "Guests Welcome" model. Dryad was founded in 1906 by Peach and Benjamin Fletcher after the latter's return from Austria where he absorbed the influences of new Viennese Secession design movement.
