This is a rare pair of floating back sofas designed by Edward Wormley for Dunbar model 6133. They are upholstered in the original Dorothy Liebes loom-woven textile and were acquired from an architect's private collection. Oiled walnut frames. Arm height 23". Sold and priced as a pair. Can be recovered in your choice of material.
Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. The sofas are all original. Both sofas show some signs of wear to the fabric and are each faded on one side which faced a window for many years. Nevertheless, they are extremely unique and should be appreciated for their historical significance. -
