Description
A very rare set of six dining chairs ''Leggerissima'' (ultralight) model designed by Emanuele Rambaldi and manufactured by Figli di Sanguineti G.B.
Made of beech painted in a rosewood essence, this model has a frame which weight just 1,65 kg (for a total of 2,00 kg with its drawn guinea cane seat).
This chair was presented at the IX Triennale during the 1951, the same year that Gio Ponti designed the Leggera chair and 7 years before his Superleggera model.
Our chairs are professionally restored and newly caned by the artisans of our in-house workshop. The caning process respects all the ancient Chiavari techniques and this fact - due to the structural function of the cane in this kind of chairs - allow to add sturdiness and longevity at a super light frame.
