Description
A fine circa 1790 English George III period mahogany hall bench having 'saddle' or 'navette' form seat with center 'S' pierced hand 'grab' over conforming seat rails on square tapered legs joined by 'H-form' stretcher.

Recently professionally restored and original finish rewaxed; typical veneer repairs to seat due to form.
