Set of Nine Danish Dining Chairs by Eskild Pontoppidan for Ludvig Pontoppidan

  • Description
    Master Craftsman, Ludvig Pontoppidan, produced extraordinary fine furniture for many of the important designers of his time.

    Architect Eskild Pontoppidan, designed these chairs. From their hand crafted and stitched leather seats and backs, to the precision of the joinery, they represent the best quality furniture produced in 20th century Denmark. They are also very comfortable.

    A set of these chairs were exhibited at the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers' Guild, Kunstindustrimuseet, Copenhagen,16, September 2nd - October 1960, Stand 1.
