Description
Cosy shapes and elegant hues come together to make this pair of easy chairs a stylish accent pieces that cannot go overlooked. Boasting strong curved lines, custom oak legs, and luxurious upholstery, the chairs’ tactile details add a soft artistic element that is essential to mid-century European design.
These chairs exude quality and personality from all angles. Their delightfully eccentric design is quite simplistic, featuring a combination of round bodies and slender, tapered oak legs. The classic shape of the generous seats and embracing, enveloping backs - that constitute the armrests as well - create an inviting and open look which is a signature characteristic of European mid-century modern furniture design. The cushions are nested into the chairs, therefore they follow the smooth and unitary aesthetic. Thanks to the sinuous, large surfaces, the texture of the elegant fabric greatly accentuates the shape of these easy chairs. The tight tailoring allows both the bodies and the solid wood legs to stand out. Mounted on custom oak bases with slim lines, the pairing of materials is classic, and timeless. From the muted colour scheme to the material choices, these chairs have the essentially mid-century modern aesthetic and therefore, can add that cosy charm into any space. At the same time, their unique look makes them great accents that draw the eyes immediately.
Simply styled and elegant had always been European mid-century designers’ speciality, and there is no better example than this pair. Combining modern aesthetics full of modern energy with an uncompromising level of craftsmanship, these chairs are exciting pieces sure to stand out in any environment.
