Fantastic Pair Chinoiserie Solid Rosewood Lounge Chairs Mid-Century

Wonderful hand-carved pair arm chair made in Hong Kong of solid rosewood with intricate geometric fretwork designs on the back and the sides. Square solid panel seat. Frame rests on four Ming style horse-hoof legs. Chairs measure 30"t x 28"w x 24"d. Arm height 22" t and seat height 17" t.
Seat cushion upholstered in a vintage Brunschwig & Fils floral fabric with a yellow ground and detailed pale blue, gray, and green flowers and vines. Two ties hold cushion in place. Foam insert with zipper closure- dimensions: 23" w x 22" d x 4.25" t. The ottomans shown are listed in another of our offerings.

Good vintage condition with light age appropriate wear. The finish is original and still looks good, only some minor scratches. Cushions are in good condition with only some minor spots-hard to notice.
