Description
Elegant Pair of Italian Mid-Century Modern Benches or Stools in Rattan attributed to Franco Albini, Italy, circa 1950. The works possess dramatic, poetic forms with the seats composed in a spinal form with vertebrae extending throughout the seat and then rolling organically along the sides. The spaces between the vertebrae are open and transparent, characteristic of a modern aesthetic. Overall, the works are charming and magnetic.
