French 19th Century Painted Directoire Settee

A French Directorie period petite settee is in wonderful antique condition. Hand carved and built in the early 1800’s, this settee is sturdy and is sure to bring a lot of character to your space. The carved wood frame boosts its original worn paint finish. Worn cut velvet upholstery adds patina and warmth and is surrounded with nailhead trim. The plush seat cushion is removable. Seat Height is 18”, make sure to view the detailed images for a view of its current condition.
