French Art Deco Upholstered Armchair and Ottoman

This French Art Deco club chair and ottoman set make an irresistibly comfortable pair for lounging, reading,or simply to admire their handsome proportions. Both pieces are upholstered in a beautiful chocolate brown cut velvet material with stylized floral-motifs accented by touches of French blue as a subtle but luxurious touch. The cozy armchair offers a welcoming interior supported by a relatively tall, arched back over firm but resilient seat and arms. Elliptical wooden feet match the streamlined shape of the arms for visual harmony of proportions. A round ottoman is upholstered with the same cleaved design as the chair back mounted on a beech wood plinth for stability, although light enough to reposition as needed. We believe this to be in good condition considering its age, and any visible signs of wear are captured in the photos.
