French Duchesse Brisée Napoleon III from the 19th century
A splendid chaise longue-shaped seat, divided into three adaptable pieces. A luxurious piece with refined and elegant shapes.
Made of light white stripped wood, recently restored on the inside and upholstered with antique linen fabrics. The shapes are geometric and of great neoclassical elegance.
Fluted details in the wood ending in very fine acanthus leaves.
Perfect for the main room, powder room or master bedroom.
The Duquese or Duchess is a type of seating piece that is very difficult to find in today's antiques market. It is made up of three different pieces: the main seat with a high back, the central footrest and the smaller armchair. The three pieces are shaped so that they fit together to form a kind of "chaise longue".
