French Walnut 19th Century Louis XV Chaise Longue

Description
This inviting chaise longue in the Louis XV style would be a wonderful addition to a bedroom, library, or living room to read and lounge in quiet luxury. The wide seat and backrest appears in a rectilinear profile (like a daybed) of straight lines and tight upholstery in a spirited peacock blue velvet, not diminished by the presence of wear and discoloration from time & use. Walnut legs of cabriole profile and curule stretcher exhibit meticulous carvings in stylized rococo flourish that are restrained and transitional to fit a number of classic decorating tastes.
