Exquisite set of four side chairs designed and crafted by Frits Henningsen (1889-1965), a handsome and rare model model based on an 18th century Louis XVI/Gustavian square back chair type type and displaying the master's signature talent for exquisite modeling in the undulating corner articulation on the legs and the delicately curing back with carved ovals motifs on each side, Baltic birch, Denmark, 1930s
