Description
These unique chairs were commissioned by Ingeniør Axel Nielsen, co-owner of Larsen & Nielsen Ingeniør- og entreprenørforretning A/S, for use in his private home at Drosselvej 72 in Frederiksberg. His company had an extensive collaboration with Schlegel. In addition to some furniture, Schlegel also designed extensions to the house on Drosselvej on several occasions, just as Schlegel designed the cottage on Ordup Næs for Axel Nielsen.
