Sculptural Danish Settee in Black Leather
-
Description
Danish loveseat settee with a double rounded back upholstered in the original black leather with classic button-tufted detailing. Attributed to master cabinetmaker Georg Kofoed, Denmark, circa 1948, this settee is handcrafted with a solid wood frame and eight-way hand-tied spring seating, offering excellent back support and comfortable seating. Raised on round, tapered legs, the settee is in very good original condition, with age-appropriate wear to the leather that adds to its vintage character.
