Description
An icon of 20th century design. The splendid Alky chair, designed by Giancarlo Piretti in 1969, is an icon of mid-20th century Italian design. A piece of furniture that combines comfort, simplicity and an elegant aesthetic that adapts to modern and contemporary spaces. It is characterized by its sculptural and continuous shape, with a curvilinear design that adapts perfectly to the body, achieving an ergonomic piece, and rests on thin metal legs that elevate the chair, giving it a light and floating appearance. The chair is known for its comfort and iconic silhouette, upholstered in a beautiful geometric fabric in white, black and grey, very versatile and with personality.
Piretti , a designer born in Bologna, established himself as a leading figure in 20th century industrial design and also known for other designs such as the Plia chair and the DSC 106.
