Description
The legendary Pierre Paulin originally designed the Pacha Chair in 1975. With comfort as his focus Paulin gave the Pacha chair its curvy and natural form providing excellent support for the body. This lounge chair is a timeless classic that will bring life and character to any interior setting.
Pierre Paulin (1927-2009) was a French designer who became known as a pioneer of modern furniture design. He is referred to as "the man who made design an art.” What makes his designs so distinctive is their striking sculptural shape, which earned him many prizes worldwide. Apart from furniture, Paulin also designed interiors for the French presidents Pompidou and Mitterrand in the Elysée Palace in Paris. Paulin was posthumously awarded the distinction of "Royal Designer for Industry."
