1940s Guglielmo Pecorini : rare set four sculpted walnut & straw dining chairs
-
Description
Renowned Italian designer Guglielmo Pecorini was somewhat reclusive with limited information available about his life. He worked from the 1930s to 1950s and his furniture pieces are highly coveted. This rare set of four dining chairs shows the high artisanal quality that he worked - with delicate carved solid walnut framing, tapered 47" tall-back seats and four radiating spindles. Sculptural flared legs and beautiful woven straw (new) seating. Exceptional. Italy, 1940s.
