Description
Easily one of our favorite sofa designs by one of the leading lights of the Scandinavian modernist movement, Hans J Wegner (1914-2007). It combines his love of clean lines and organic forms with classic Wegner style. Wide-panel bent oakwood forms the sofa base with open arching arms that continue between the leg and back. Corded flag halyard cotton rope supports the two loose cushion back and natural linen straps support the matching cushion seating. Currently showing in its original cotton canvas cushions that will be replaced to match with new material (included - or let us know if you prefer a different canvas color). Designed in the late 1960s and produced starting in 1970s as Model 671 by GETAMA, Denmark.
