Description
The Hans Wegner Elbow Chair is an iconic piece of mid-century modern design. Constructed with a durable soaped oak frame, it provides both strength and beauty. This timeless design is sure to be a conversation starter in any home.
A pioneering furniture designer of the 20th century, Hans J Wegner is one of the most well-known Danish furniture designers in the world. Experimenting with new materials such as moulded veneer, The Elbow Chair is an attractive and simple stackable dining chair with perfect stability. The “Round Chair” designed by Wegner was dubbed the “most beautiful char in the world,” by the American magazine Interiors.
With a long history of amazing craftsmanship, dating back to the beginning of the company in 1908 in Odense, Denmark, Carl Hansen & Son is deeply rooted in the Danish Design Movement combining superior manufacturing with world renowned designs by Ole Wanscher, Hans J Wegner, and Mogens Koch, to name a few.
