Designed by Hans Wegner for Getama in the 1950s, the GE258 is a versatile Danish sofa that can easily be transformed into a bed. Made from solid oak, it features Wegner’s characteristic clean lines and practical, functional design. This exceptional and sturdily built piece has been newly reupholstered and is presented in very good vintage condition.

By lifting the backrest, the sofa converts into a comfortable daybed. Behind the backrest, a hidden compartment provides convenient storage for bedding. The original ‘roller sheet’ can be pulled out to cover and protect the seat fabric when the sofa is used as a bed, making this piece both practical and elegant.
