Description
Iconic pair of ‘Penguin’ modern Lounge chairs designed by Ib Kofod-Larsen for Selig in Denmark circa 1960s. These timeless Danish Modern chairs feature a structurally sound black iron frame that supports the newly refinished molded bentwood backrest and seat. The backrest molds into the body almost as if it’s hugging the seater, ensuring comfortable support and unique seating experience. The seat has new high-density foam and top-grain leather upholstery creating an elegant aesthetic to sit and relax. The penguin-like shaped wings on the backrest epitomize the organic simplicity representative of Kofod-Larsen’s aesthetic principles making this set the ideal fit to any contemporary space.
