Midcentury Scandinavian Seating Group "Kandidaten" by Ib Kofod Larsen

A rare seating group consisting of three lounge chairs and one sofa, model "Kandidaten" by Ib Kofod Larsen (Denmark) for OPE Möbler (Sweden) 1958. This is a timeless classic design and is constructed with a high sense of quality. The frame is made of afromosia teak and the cushions have their original leather upholstery. Condition: Very good original condition. The whole group comes from its original owner, meaning that all pieces are more or less in the same condition. The frames have been carefully refinished to preserve the original patina and show light signs of use and age (as seen on pictures). They also have new rubber straps under the seating. The chairs come with their original leather cushions that have been cleaned and reconditioned and are in very good condition with natural patina.
