Description
Mid-century industrial daybed by Vertifix, Kuperus Almelo, Netherlands, circa 1950s. Constructed with a black lacquered tubular steel frame and mesh metal sleeping surface, this piece features distinctive bent metal legs and wrapped rope handles for added character and comfort. Includes a removable black tufted mattress. Can be taken apart into three pieces for transport without the need for tools.
Marked with the original Vertifix label. A rare, functional design blending Bauhaus utility with sculptural appeal. In good vintage condition with signs of age and patina. -
