This timeless pair of Italian Art Deco lounge chairs boasts a beautiful, almost sculptural form with generous curves that evokes the high-end craftsmanship of the movement that’s steeped in old-school luxury and glamour. Art Deco was characterized by sleekness, opulence, and geometry, often prioritizing rich, elegant colours and luxe fabrics. These characteristics are also seen in these lounge chairs, especially in the unique arms that define the dynamic. Each chair features a reclined oval back over a deep seat along with elegantly curved armrests. Visually, the arms and backs are united by the structure and the upholstery that creates appealing arches and angles. Interestingly, instead of traditional legs, the chairs stand on rectangular wooden bases with a beautiful grain and pattern.
