Stunning Italian midcentury throne chair with accompanying bench or stool. These dramatic pieces combine modern neoclassical with a fantasy neo-Baroque sensibility that predates post-modernism and the Memphis Design Group by 25 years. The frames are composed of handwrought gilt iron, hand painted wood back supports, tassels and decoration and with seats of straw. Pieces may be purchased individually. Chair is H 52 x W 23.75 x D 20. Bench/ottoman/footstool is H 24 with decoration x W 22 x D 17.
