Description
Sgabello is a type of chair or stool typically elaborately carved originating in Renaissance Italy. This example from the 1880s with a back featuring a pair of lions flanking a carved coronet over a crenellated castle. The legs with lions head and coat of arms within a cartouche. Lions paw feet. These make great hall chairs.
