A Pair of French Mid-Century Modern Craftsman bar stools in the style of Jean-Michel Frank with hand-carved hardwood bases and seats composed of interlaced leather straps circa 1940. These rare and timeless pieces draw from modern and craftsman traditions in creating their distinctive aesthetic. Designers such as Jean Michel Frank were able to cross boundaries between modernism and craft creating singular, forward looking pieces that defied style and time. This is priced as a set of 6 pieces. Seat are 11.5 x 11.5". 4 additional stools are available.
