Description
Pair of adjustable height Jeff Covey Model Six stools. Would make great seats for a kitchen counter in a loft or in an artists studio.
From Design Journal:
"Part of the permanent collection of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art Adjusts the seat height from 23 - 28 inches. San Francisco designer Jeff Covey knows that many designers and architects find a good stool their best seat for working‚ you can perch lightly on a stool and move them around easily. To make the perfect stool, Covey designed a seat which spins up and down at a touch and adjusts the seat height from 23 - 28 inches. It has gentle ergonomic contours mounted on a cast aluminum hub with a 1" machined acme thread and light, but very strong, heat-treated legs. Every element of this precision-tooled seat exhibits intelligence about the object-user relationship. The Model Six Stool has become an instant classic and resides in the permanent collection of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art." -
