A pair of Gustavian period armchairs with provenance, signed by master craftsman, Johan Erik Höglander, Stockholm 1777-1813. Considered to be one of Sweden's best chair makers during the 18th century. These beautiful chairs have been hand-scraped to reveal the original paint and newly upholstered in linen. Includes paper seal of the Stockholm Guild of chair makers.
