Description
John Dickinson’s legendary Etruscan Chair is covered in a Parchment leather with wooden legs in an ivory craquelure finish. This is Dickinson’s original finish. The Etruscan chair is a reinterpretation of of the Georgian claw-foot chair from the eighteenth century. The legs are bent as if ready to leap, the chair’s animal form supports the feeling of both action and stability. An example of this iconic design is featured in the permanent collection of SFMoMA.
