Generous Georgian Armchair

Description
Very fine and overscale George III armchair in the manner of John Linnell, having shaped back with paterae and ribbon carved crest, over a removable upholstered panel, the frame with edges of ribbon tied ribbing and beading, the scrolled arms similarly treated, the apron with central carved paterae and trailing berried vines, the cabriole legs with acanthus carved feet, the whole in nicely finished beechwood with damask upholstery.
