Set of 6 dining chairs designed by Josef Hoffmann in 1903 made in Vienna by Jacob and Josef Kohn. The chairs are branded in the wood seat as well as having the original paper labels. This is a rare model which rarely comes to market. When architect Josef Hoffmann designed this set he and his partner designer, painter Koloman Moser established the Wiener Werkstätte. These years from 1889 to 1930 were a great time for Art, Architecture and decorative Art, Vienna was in full flower.
