Description
Capture the feeling of cozy conversation and forward momentum. These rare, vintage lounge chairs were made by The Karpen Company of California in the 1950s and artfully restored.
Solid walnut legs gleam with a dark finish and polished brass sabots and arm accents. Reupholstered with grey velvet, which adds luxurious softness and charm. The wrap-around back is beautifully structured with shell-like seaming and distinctive raised welting.
Other designers from this period include Paul McCobb, Vladimir Kagan, Hans Wegner, Gio Ponti, and Paul McCobb. -
