Description
Designed by Mies van der Rohe in 1930 for his renowned Tugendhat House in Brno, Czech Republic, the Brno chair reflects the groundbreaking simplicity of its original environment. He is considered one of the pioneers of modernist design in both architecture and furnishings. A simple profile, clean lines and meticulous attention to detail have elevated the Brno chair to an icon of 20th century Furniture design.
Pair Brno flat bar chairs marked Knoll. Chairs feature cantilevered, heavy stainless steel flat-bar frames. The seat, backrest and the arched armrests are upholstered in red leather.
