Description
https://www.incollect.com/articles/karl-springer-and-the-art-of-maximalist-minimalismEero Saarinen is widely regarded as one of the most important furniture designers of the 20th Century, known for his innovative use of materials and sculptural approach to form. His iconic pieces, such as the Tulip Chair, Womb Chair, and this Executive Chair continue to embody his design philosophy and are celebrated for their timeless elegance and functional simplicity.
This Saarinen Executive Chair is the Armless version, set on a swivel caster base making it ideal for a home office. The base features a pneumatic lift which allows the user to adjust their seat height with a simple lift of its lever. The chair is also equipped with a tilt mechanism which lets the chair recline. This chair is in near-new original condition, retaining its original KnollTextiles Cato Fire Red upholstery. Cato is a historically significant Knoll fabric, and it lends itself well to this storied Saarinen design.
We carry all versions of Saarinen Executive Chairs in any quantity; Arm or Armless, Metal or Wood Leg, or Swivel Caster chairs as shown on this listing. Please feel free to inquire with us with any questions. -
