Brazilian Modern Bench in Rosewood & Iron, Liceu De Artes e Oficios, 1960s
-
Description
This sculptural 1960s bench by Liceu de Artes e Ofícios features a contoured rosewood seat paired with a curved iron base, showcasing the refined craftsmanship of Brazilian modern design. The bench has a visible crack running the length of the seat—an age-related characteristic that does not affect its structural integrity. It has been intentionally left unrestored to preserve the piece’s authenticity and character, though it can be repaired upon request.
