Description
This bench is a quiet testament to time and endurance, crafted from centuries-old reclaimed oak beams salvaged from European architecture. Its form is deliberately minimal, allowing the raw character of the wood to speak for itself. Two deeply patinated planks rest on solid block feet, their timeworn texture revealing cracks, nail holes, and age-darkened grain patterns shaped by decades of use.
The surface remains untouched by modern sanding or refinement, honoring the natural erosion and irregularity that only time can create. Each split and groove becomes part of the story, making no two pieces identical.
This bench was assembled entirely by hand, with no artificial aging or distressing. The result is a piece that feels grounded, elemental, and deeply honest.
Ideal for use in entryways, minimalist interiors, rustic modern homes, or wabi-sabi spaces. It can function as a bench, low display table, blending seamlessly into rooms where simplicity and material integrity are valued.
Sealed with natural oils to protect and nourish the aged oak while preserving its dry, matte finish. Made in Europe by Logniture, where reclaimed materials are elevated into timeless, enduring furniture.

Message from Seller:
We do not cut down, we do not destroy, but seek out downed tree limbs toppled by fierce wind storms or driftwood from the local creek. But, in that moment of discovery all it takes is a tiny spark in the artist's eye and in his vision the piece becomes what it was always meant to be. P: +38.595.396.1045 E: logniture@gmail.com
