Ludwig Mies van der Rohe for Knoll International – MR Chaise Lounge, 1927 Design
A timeless modernist icon designed in 1927 by Mies van der Rohe and produced by Knoll in the 1980s. This MR Chaise, originally specified for the Knoll Showroom on Madison Avenue in New York, features a channeled cushion newly upholstered in premium Spinneybeck leather. The cushion rests on original leather webbing straps supported by a chrome-plated tubular steel frame. The frame exhibits light surface scratches consistent with age and use.
