Description
An elegant pair of early Martingala armchairs by Marco Zanuso for Arflex, designed in the 1950s and reupholstered in high-quality grey fabric, are now in excellent vintage condition.
The chairs feature clean lines, a simple yet elegant form, and the use of high-quality materials. The brass frame and grey fabric upholstery complement each other perfectly, creating a look that is both timeless and sophisticated.
The backrest is slightly curved and features a distinctive stitching pattern that resembles a martingale, a type of harness used in horse racing. This unique detail adds a touch of interest and personality to the chairs.
The chairs also have comfortable armrests and a slightly reclined seating position, making them ideal for relaxation. Whether you are reading a book, enjoying a cup of coffee, or simply taking a break from the day, you will find these chairs to be incredibly comfortable and inviting.
This pair of early Martingala armchairs is a rare and unique find. They are perfect for the design enthusiast who appreciates the best of Italian mid-century modern design. -
