Description
The prolific and creative Milan-born Mario Bellini (b. 1935) graduated in architecture in 1959 and made his first appearance in the creative field as the design director for the famous Italian department store La Rinascente. This is one of those very early designs by Bellini for their Ammiraglia Collection - recently updated in a striking green fabric with sweeping arms & back legs that provide visual motion. Exceptional and rarely offered. Italy, 1961.
