Designed in 1989 by husband and wife design team Massimo and Lela Vignelli for Italian furniture maker Poltrona Frau, the Intervista chair is the modernist designers' interpretation of the classic barrel chair. Following Vignellis' minimal Reminiscent of the Art Deco era, the Intervista is an amalgam of their signature minimal aesthetic and post-modernism. Upholstered in vermillion leather, they are decidedly chic as well as comfortable.
