Northern Italy's late 19th century leather saddlery shop has grown into a leading contemporary design and Lombardy manufacturing powerhouse. This Italian Modernist lounge chair, likely designed between late 1970s and early 1980s, exemplifies the high-quality craftsmanship of the Grassi name. Hand-processed sofa leather in white is carefully stitched to a molded and ergonomic high-back white powder-coated aluminum frame. Original black plastic shoes intact. Stamped Matteo Grassi to front lower left frame. In vintage condition with light discoloration overall.
