"Africa" dining chairs by Afra & Tobia Scarpa, crafted in the 1970s for Maxalto, a great example of timeless Italian design. Each chair showcases a robust support structure in solid Italian walnut, beautifully complemented by black leather-upholstered seats. The remarkable backrests feature sculptural, symmetrical forms achieved by expertly splitting a single piece of wood into two mirrored parts, highlighting the elegant wood grain and intricate veneer detailing. With a hand-finished assembly process, these chairs reflect the artisanship and design innovation of the Artona series. This set of six is in exceptional condition and priced individually.
