Mogens Koch MK-16 Safari Chair for Interna, Denmark, 1960s
-
Description
A foldable safari chair by Danish architect and designer Mogens Koch. This chair was originally designed in 1932, but wasn't fully taken into production until 1960, by Interna as the MK-16 chair. The chair is made of a stained beech frame with a black leather seating, backrest and armrests. It comes with a matching loose cushion. The leather has beautifully aged. The brass rings that attach the seating to the frame are a great detail.
