Description
A rare and elegant circa 1805 Swedish late Gustavian period neoclassical long bench, the upholstered seat atop carved giltwood frame having tripartite curule leg supports connected by turned stretcher bars. Height to top of seat rail is 15".

Origin: Sweden Period: 19th Century Materials: Giltwood, upholstery Condition: Good. Wear commensurate with age and use. Historical giltwood finish with minor losses and "touch-ups", presents beautifully. Vintage silk upholstery with flaws, reupholstery recommended.
