Rare Sofa By Oscar Nilsson (1895-1975) Made By Carpenter Albin Johansson 1930

Description
The sofa was designed by Swedish interior Architect Oscar Nilsson for Stockholms Hantverksförening (Commonly referred to as "Hantverket"; the association of Stockholms best cabinet makers and upholsterers, similar to Copenhagen's Snedkerlauget). The design was part of Hantverket's participation at the 1930 Stockholm Exhibition. According to the original drawing in the Hantverket archive, the exhibition example was to be executed in Lemonwood with an inlay in either boxwood or ivory. The sofa was made by master carpenter Albin Johansson
